We moved our web hosting and email service to a Oregon server that is 100% wind-powered. Service is excellent.
In are already green printing focus, we upped the ante, and the current issue's color pages were printed on 100% post-consumer recycled paper. We increased the number of healthy and sustainably-minded business members in our directory by 25% and increased our reach by adding 5,000 more copies to our print run - total 45,000.
My Business/Organization has continued to do::
<p>We continued to print our Directory with green choices foremost in our decisions, including high postconsumer content, FSC certified papers, and sourcing from NW mills. Color pages were once again printed with no-VOC UV inks. All paper was PCS (process chlorine-free) and we used a Willamette Valley printer. We also continued our giving program, once again returning to the community some 3% of our gross revenues donated to healthy and sustainably-minded non-profits in our communities. And much more.</p>
