We began greening our company five years ago. In 2009, we implemented additional sustainable practices as follows:
- changed over to recycled paper products in our company restrooms and kitchen
- began using recycled photocopy paper
- installed a central area for recycling batteries for our employees
- installed a central area for recycling compact fluorescent light bulbs for our employees
My Business/Organization has continued to do::
1) using green certified cleaning products at our janitorial accounts 2) implemented green cleaning for carpet cleaning 3) recycling light tubes and bulbs at our janitorial accounts 4) installed chemical dilution centers at all accounts to standardize chemical use 5) full commingled recycling at our company offices 6) cardboard recycling at all janitorial accounts 7) install programmable HVAC control at our company offices 8) recycle used cell phones, computers, monitors, etc.
