Going for LEED Platinum Rating, the house's siding is the old Cuthbert Ampitheater redwood seats.  The floor in the master bath is made of cork from wine bottles.  The kitchen countertops done by Pro Contracting are Squak Mountain Stone in Thunder color.  A Fibrous-cement material comprised of recycled paper, recycled glass, coal fly-ash and cement. Material is hand-cast into “slabs” as an alternative to natural or quarried stone. Resembles soapstone or limestones. They are as unique a surface as they come!  The bathroom tops also done by Pro Contracting are PaperStone in Mocha color.  PaperStone countertops are 100% recycled paper countertops. 

Tour of Homes 2009 from July 26th to August 3rd from 12-6 Saturdays and Sundays.  Weeknights 6-9.
